Since completing 1996’s ‘Money’, The Charlie Daniels Band fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Now signed to The Charlie Daniels Band’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “The Roots Remain (cd2)” leads The Charlie Daniels Band’s back-to-school campaign. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of The Charlie Daniels Band on ‘Money’. IF you love The Charlie Daniels Band, ‘The Roots Remain (cd2)’ Mp3’s is the best!
This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on The Roots Remain (cd2). The Charlie Daniels Band sings his heart out in The Legend Of Wooley Swamp. Blew our minds when we first heard Reflections. Mississippi is the first taste of the new album. The Devil Went Down To Georgia is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after The Roots Remain (cd2) have ended. Passing Lane sets the tone for the entire album. This is one hell of a track. Song High Lonesome is actually a funny song. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. After few listenings I started to like Running With That Crowd more and more. I can’t stop humming along Still In Saigon. We Had It All One Time is one of the more up-tempo songs on The Roots Remain (cd2). Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Ain’t No Ramblers Anymore. In America is excellent and different song.
