This -song debut EP shows the promise that Dalida has. Dalida had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. I am not a real Pop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Volume 03 - Ciao Ciao Bambina (58-59)’ really is amazing. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
|titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. The song Si Je Pouvais Revivre Un Jour Ma Vie ending is my favorite… so catchy! Guitare Et Tambourin still maintains something of a specific flourish. A unique and uplifting song. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Hava Naguila, which shows, blatantly, how much Dalida has evolved as a singer. Des Millions De Larmes is beautiful, yet underrated track. Tout L’amour - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Ce Serait Dommage hits the heart. I listened to the opening track La Fille Aux Pieds Nus and liked it a lot. Love In Portofino is excellent song though, very addictive. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. From the moment you listen to Je Te Tendrai Les Bras you’re hooked. Mes Freres is a bit different from Dalida stereotypical stuff. Music and lyrics of Marina creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. C’est Ca L’amore - Dalida first major hit. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Ne Joue Pas (1:55) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Adonis - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Listening to J’ai Reve you can hear that Dalida has still amazing chemistry with band members. Dalida has astounded me with this amazing track. Melodie Pour Un Amour is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. I find myself hearing bits of Mon Amour Oublie here and there throughout my waking hours. Elle Lui Et L’autre is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Dalida released so far.
