There were many famous songs of Dalida available. I am not a real Pop music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Volume 08 - Ciao Amore Ciao (66-67)’ really is amazing. There is no doubt that Dalida has talent. To me Dalida is the best band ever.
When I listen to Et… Et in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Overall a nice softer song. First time I heard Je T’appelle Encore was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Modesty Blaise very upbeat. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Volume 08 - Ciao Amore Ciao (66-67). This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Although Tendre Amour is very melodic it is far from sad. Le Prefere Naturellement is such a perfect and optimistic song that things can get just better. Vocals of Dalida in Dans Ma Chambre really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Listening to Mama you can hear that Dalida has still amazing chemistry with band members. Ne Reviens Pas Mon Amour is absolutely incredible. Some of the arrangements found on Volume 08 - Ciao Amore Ciao (66-67) are surprisingly edgy. Mon Coeur Est Fou is another favourite of mine. Les Grilles De Ma Maison - I just love it. Les Gens Sont Fous is the albums biggest surprise. Pauvre Coeur is a fine track on any terms. La Chanson De Yohann is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. A Qui is excellent song though, very addictive. Loin Dans Le Temps is perfect. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Je Reviens Te Chercher - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Dalida has astounded me with this amazing track.
